A charming 70-seater café on Cavendish Road in Coorparoo, Flute offers diners a mix of crowd-pleasing café staples and more unique speciality dishes seven days a week. An always-busy firm favourite among locals, Flute is known for its fantastic barista-made coffee, great value meals, delicious sweet treats, and its attentive, professional service.
Flute is open for breakfast every day, where you can take your pick from breakfast-style Bruschetta, Sweet Corn & Feta Cakes, Herby Truffled Eggs or, if you’re looking for something sweet to begin the day, Flute’s Decadent Pancakes.
As well as breakfast, Flute is open for lunch every day also. With three starters, seven mains and two dessert options, it may be a concise lunch menu, though it’s all about quality over quantity here. Whatever main and/or starter you end up choosing, just make sure you leave room for dessert, as Flute offers a daily dessert special that will surely tempt you, and if it doesn’t the café’s array of freshly baked cakes in their glass display – which can be pre-ordered for events - will.
Plus, with the majority of dishes featuring on Flute’s breakfast and lunch menu gluten-free or vegan, dietary requirements are the least of your worries when dining at Flute.
You can choose to dine inside, where the décor is funky, warm and inviting or rather enjoy the sunshine and dine al fresco. Otherwise, offering a takeaway menu, featuring a combination of dine-in favourites as well as other eats perfect when you’re short on time, you enjoy Flute’s food anywhere.
No matter where you sit, or whether you’re dropping by simply for a coffee and cake or rather enjoying a multi-course lunch, you can expect friendly, prompt service and exquisite food.
