Something Different that’s worthy of a drive up to the coast

Dee Den is the new kid on the block that’s already made quite the impression. Opening in early 2022, Dee Den has already impacted the Sunny Coast restaurant game and has become a must-do dining destination.

With the promise of ‘Something Different’, opening in the quiet, bushy suburb of Buderim, Dee Den is certainly the Odd One Out (that’s what ‘Dee Den’ means) in the best way possible.

With a freshly launched menu, there’s a whole array of new, creative dishes for you to dive into. If you’re in the mood for some summery, Asian fusion tapas vibes, Dee Den reckless creativity pours out into their entree-style dishes.

Start with some oysters, go natural or with an Asian Sauv Blanc vinaigrette, perfectly paired with a glass of bubbles or French champagne.

Maybe you’re in the mood for some Spanner Crab Betel Leaves, a flavoursome bite packed with grapefruit, green apples, lychee, chilli jam dressing, spring onions, lime leaves, peanuts and toasted coconut.

Plant-based folk will rejoice at their wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options. Their Fable Mushrooms Bites make a perfect pre-dinner bite featuring coconut, turmeric, charred pineapple, fresh herbs and a vegan truffle mayo.

For a heartier dish, you can slurp up their Turmeric Curry with Roasted Veggies and Agedashi Tofu.

Whether you are having a date night or enjoying the company of friends, they’ve got you covered.

Dee Den also offers an Omakase-style dining experience, showcasing the best of the Dee Den best with their Chef’s Banquet. So, you can loosen your belt and relax whilst the dedicated team takes care of your evening.

If you’re in a mood for post dinner drinks, you’ll want to make your way to the cozy bar area at Dee Den. Of course, it wouldn’t be Dee Den without the cocktails being a little different.

You’ll find classics invented to the next level, such as their Espresso Martini, made with cold brew. If you’re feeling adventurous, their Mezcal Paloma, made using smokey mezcal instead of the usual tequila, makes for a refreshing and smokey margarita-esque summer drink.

Dee Den is open Tuesday to Sunday, for lunch (11.30am to 2.30pm) and dinner (5pm to 8.30pm) sessions.

Find them nestled in a Queenslander at 1st Floor, 87 Burnett St, Buderim (Gubbi Gubbi Country), right next to the Buderim Tavern.
