Southsiders no longer have to experience foodie FOMO, a new Asian fusion eatery is set to open its doors in May.

Oh Monk is the newest addition to the culinary scene in the leafy suburb of Tarragindi, but don’t just think this is your typical Asian takeout joint.

Their dining space reflects their mantra; bright, colourful and fun. Their soon-to-be 20-seat eatery is situated right on Denham Terrace.

Whether you're looking to spruce up your typical mid-week dinner routine or bid farewell to mundane takeout, Oh Monk promises Asian eats done differently.

You can expect them to take a fresh and innovative approach to Asian fusion cuisine. Taking traditional dishes and adding their own creative twist, Oh Monk Asian is redefining the Asian fusion cuisine game.

Oh Monk’s menu is family-friendly and has plenty of vegan and gluten-free options, so those with dietary requirements won't have to miss out on the flavours & fun.

Those who are coeliacs will be glad to know that even their deep-fried goodies are completely gluten-free, and cooked using a completely separate fryer.

Some sneak peeks and highlights of what you can expect; fluffy and crispy Chicken Katsu Sando, Slow-Cooked Beef Cheek Massaman and Lemongrass Honey Chicken.

Oh Monk's Head Chef and Co-Owner, Chef Batt is no stranger to the foodie scene. Chef Batt has quite the impressive culinary background, having trained at Le Du in Bangkok and worked with some of Brisbane's best, like the PawPaw and Long Time.
