We always love to explore the small coffee shops in quiet corners of Brisbane, because that’s where the gems are normally hidden. Samson and Sophie has no inspirational founding story, just a simple family patisserie on Macquarie Street.

Coffee. Booze. Coorparoo. We had heard so much about Degani, a coffee chain store originating from Melbourne, so we decided to hit the place and have a taste of their food and drinks.

Get ready to be transported to a bright, pastel, and retro space when you visit the adequately named First Met Cafe (@firstmetcafeofficial) just opposite of Westfield Garden City at Cremin St, Upper Mount Gravatt.

As explorers of cuisine we are always seeking for creative food, ordinary dishes that are prepared in innovative ways. So we paid a visit to Paddington Social, a homely Queenslander-turned-café at the corner of Given Terrace and Alenxandra Street in Paddington. 

As a big fan of everything choccy, we decided to try out the Three Chocolatiers, a gourmet chocolate boutique located in Sydney. The allure of Three Chocolotiers (a name which, for big fans of Harry Potter, bears an interesting resemblance to the Three Broomsticks) lies in the fact that their products are handcrafted, using local ingredients.

The newly-opened Cafe Boulevard Mt Gravatt. Delicious brunch items at good value with a spacious dining area that feels like a hotel lobby, they have us hooked to be our regular brunch join while we work.

Caught up with a friend and fellow Brisbane foodie Nut's journey at Pawpaw Cafe, Woolloongabba. Based on his recommendations, we ordered a bunch of their breakfast items like Paw Paw’s Signature Hash, Cheddar Cheese Waffle Benny, and Chilli Popcorn Chicken, which we really enjoy.

Moreish Cafe has an impeccable range of Breakfast & Lunch options on their menu, all which are priced reasonably to one's liking. We had the chance to try out 2 breakfast dishes, which were made to standard and was delicious whilst being sparkled with comfort from their charismatic and vibrant staffs.
