Greca | Howard Smith Wharves 

Beneath the Story Bridge, a part of the Howard Smith Wharves precinct, you’ll find Greca, a contemporary Greek taverna inspired by the Mediterranean way of life, and the pleasure of eating together. Unsurprisingly then, Greca offers three different banquet menus, the Full Greek, the Full Greek Plus, and Almighty Aphrodite, all comprising an array of much-loved Greek favourites.

Chu the Phat | South Brisbane

Located in South Brisbane’s Fish Lane dining precinct, Chu the Phat is the younger sibling to Brisbane favourite Madame Wu, and with a focus on Asian street food draws on flavours from the hawker stalls of Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan. At Chu the Phat there’s two banquet options available, depending on how hungry you are and the size of your group.

Libertine Restaurant and Bar | Petrie Terrace

Simply utter the words ‘I’m Hungry’ and you’ll soon be served a selection of the chef’s favourite dishes. Libertine’s menu is described as a unique, fun and modern combination of French and Vietnamese cuisine, and served hawker-style, arriving as soon as it is prepared, is best shared. There are three different banquet menus available, including the 5-Course ‘Libertine Classics’ Banquet and the whopping 10-Course ‘Premium I’m Hungry’ Banquet. Also, worth noting is Libertine offers corresponding 100% vegetarian banquet menus.

Chop Chop Changs | West End 

Buddha once said, ‘happiness never decreases by being shared’. With this pearl of wisdom written on the bottom of Chop Chop Changs’ menu and with the motto that ‘good times are best shared and so is our food’, it’s little wonder this pan-Asian restaurant in West End offers four banquet menus. Take your pick between the Hawker Banquet, Grazing Banquet, Vegan Banquet, and if you really want to sample all of the restaurant’s best dishes, the Market Feed Banquet.

NOTA | Paddington  

Designed to be shared of the whole table, the Chef’s feasts at NOTA are ideal for group dining (you’re required to select one of the two feast options if you’re a party of six or more).  Take your pick from two chef feasts, one comprised of two entrees, two mains and one dessert and the second comprising an additional entrée, main and dessert.

Mons Ban Sabi | Camp Hill

Serving award-winning Thai cuisine seven nights a week, Mon Ban Sabai in Camp Hill is the sibling of Pawpaw Café and just like its sibling offers a banquet menu also. For groups of four or more, dinners can enjoy a selection of entrees, curries and stir-fries, finished with coconut ice-cream, all for under $50.

Happy Boy | Fortitude Valley

All of Happy Boy’s dishes have been designed to share, making it a popular spot for groups craving delicious Chinese food. Ask for the Chef’s Banquet to save you the stress of ordering for the table.

Sake Restaurant & Bar | CBD

If you’re in the mood to really treat yourself to something of the best modern Japanese in Brisbane, Sake Restaurant and Bar at Eagle Street Pier is the place to go. Opt for Sake’s Bites Banquet to enjoy ceviche tacos, a selection of sashimi, karaage baos and the restaurant’s incredibly addictive popcorn shrimp. Otherwise, for something even more indulgent the Chef’s Omakase menu, with miso caramelised ‘glacier 51’ toothfish and Tajima wagyu strip loin will certainly be a meal to remember.

Pawpaw Cafe | Woolloongabba

Inspired by the exotic flavours and experiences of South East Asia, Pawpaw Café is not just a favourite among locals for brunch in the morning, though its incredible value banquets also makes it a popular spot for groups too. Priced at only $35pp, Pawpaw’s lunch banquet features spring rolls, chilli popcorn chicken, papaya salad, beef cheek massaman and Malaysian yellow curry, along with roti and jasmine rice. When the sun sets there’s four banquet menus to choose from, including one designed for couples.

sAme sAme | Fortitude Valley

With such a deliciously sounding menu, enjoying the banquet and letting the sAme sAme team take the heat out of the decision-making process for you really is a no brainer when you’re dining in a large group (it’s a requirement for seven people or more). Rounding up a bunch of the restaurant’s most popular dishes, you can even choose to match wines with your selection. Plus, sAme sAme happily caters to most dietaries as well.

Madame Wu | CBD

Madame Wu in Eagle Street Pier offers a lunch and two dinner banquets, along with spectacular panoramic river views. Each banquet can be ordered by two or more people but must be ordered by the whole table and requires bookings of eight or more to order from the banquet menu.
