Siri Thai - 15 years of thai flavours in alderly

It’s safe to assume that most Aussie households have their staple Thai takeaway joint that they’re fiercely loyal to.

Ordering a Pad Thai for dinner is honestly a weekly ritual for most of us.

However, our go-to suburban gem is Siri Thai, a traditional Thai restaurant in the Northside of Brissy, bringing authentic Thai flavours to our tables for over 15 years.

Serving up food with heart, Siri Thai offers up all your classics, such as the previously mentioned Pad Thai or your choice of the ‘rainbow’ curries (Red, Green, Yellow), but what makes them stand out from the Brissy Thai crowd is their unique dishes.

A summer must-try is their Pineapple Fried Rice comes with your choice of protein, (we reckon Prawns are the go-to), and is full of stir-fried goodness, chunks of pineapple, eggs and is topped with cashew nuts for crunch.

If you’re in need for a hearty, comfort dish, of course Siri Thai delivers. Their homemade Massaman Curry served with Tender Lamb Shank is like a big hug in a bowl.

Thai feasts should always start with a round of starters, and on the Siri Thai menu you’ll find an whole array of entree-goodness.

If you’re a seafood lover, you’ll want to munch on their Deep Fried Coconut-Coated Prawns or Calamari, both served with a dipping sauce.

Maybe you’re after some Fish Cakes or you can never go wrong with an old faithful Curry Puff or Satay Chicken.

If you find yourself dining in, you’re welcomed with a traditional dining space full of purple pride and golden chandeliers. Not to mention a whole selection of cocktails, wines, beers and fun drinks.

If you’re not in the mood for booze, enjoy a sweet sip after dinner with a Thai Milk Tea.

Siri Thai are open for lunch Wednesday to Friday (11am to 2pm) and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday (from 5pm). Find them at 2/24 S Pine Rd, Alderley QLD 4051.

For bookings, you can call them at (07) 3356 9855.
